Regis Groff East Quad Expansion

Denver Public Schools, Denver, CO

StudioCPG developed construction documents for phase 2 of DPS’s Regis F. Groff Campus, which houses two alternative high schools. Our work included the development of three courtyard spaces that support 21st Century learning: The Academic Courtyard creates informal break-out spaces and an outdoor classroom; the Performance Courtyard includes an informal stage for presentations and small gatherings, and the Arts Courtyard is a space for large-scale pottery and painting projects. The new entry plaza clarifies pedestrian circulation, and a few new segments of path complete a loop trail around the site. New xeric plantings throughout the site support this green campus.
