Chavez Planting

StudioCPG worked side-by-side with students and teachers from Cesar Chavez Academy and Denver Parks staff to plant all the new shrubs at Cesar Chavez Park in honor of Cesar Chavez Day. The planting days were scheduled toward the end of construction to coincide with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony. The Chavez Academy students and teachers did an excellent job planting and will be able to enjoy these new plantings along with the all other new amenities at the park. Cesar Chavez Academy is located a few blocks from the park, which allows the students to utilize the park for school activities and team practices for a variety of different sports
