Denver, Colorado
StudioCPG is currently working with civil engineers on a water quality demonstration garden for the City and County of Denver at the Ross-University Hills Library. For this project on site stormwater runoff will be redirected through different types of water quality systems including the following: Porous detention landscape (PLD), rain gardens, a grasslined swale and permeable paving. Other site improvements on site will address current ADA and safety standards by updating curb ramps and street intersection crossings.
The goal of the demonstration garden is to be used as an educational tool to inspire others in the community to utilize these different types of water quality systems in their own landscapes.
